Racial Composition of Army Recruits vs. Population, 2004The charts below show the racial composition of the 15-24 year-old population as compared to the racial composition of active-duty Army recruits. Army data were obtained from the U.S. Army Recruiting Command through a FOIA request submitted by Peacework Magazine. Population numbers are from the 2004 U.S. Census Bureau population estimates.
